immersion in the Milan Design Week 2013 with many events
dedicated to design, art and music until late night. Here it is the

FUNAMBULISTS - INGO
MAURER
The famous designer Ingo
Maurer presents at Spazio Krizia his creations with LEDs
and synthetic materials, along with the top twenty projects submitted
by the Accademia di Brera students to the competition for a new
lighting project of the Melnikov House in Moscow. The
students' works are intertwined with iconic images of the
architectural masterpieces of the Russian Constructivism from the 20s
and 30s.

Ingo Maurer espone allo Spazio Krizia le sue magiche
creazioni luminose che combinano led e materiali sintetici insieme ai
venti migliori lavori presentati dagli studenti dell'Accademia di
Brera al concorso per la progettazione della nuova illuminazione di Casa Melnikov a Mosca. Il tutto, intrecciato in un dialogo diretto con le immagini
dei capolavori architettonici del costruttivismo russo degli anni
Venti e Trenta.

SKIES AND BEYOND
Bottega
Veneta presents Skies
and Beyond, a special
exhibition dedicated to the third collection of 25
art-boxes created in
collaboration with the artist Nancy
Lorenz. Every box is
unique, signed and numbered, they are artistic containers made of
wood and covered with leather or suede. The lids are decorated with
intricate precious inlaid made of mother of pearl, silver, gold and

Point of YOU event by
Frankie Morello and Studio=O
The
duo Modica-Gigliotti, at the helm of Frankie Morello brand,
celebrates the Design Week at their flagship store in Corso Matteotti
with "Point of You", a special video installation
made in collaboration with Studio = O. The multimedia
installation projects the viewer into an optical infinite space: the
image of the observer is reflected on digital mirrors with a slight
delay or in advance, creating a sense of confusion. The Milanese
electro-music duo IORI's EYES will enjoy the so awaited
cocktail party with a special live performance.

Modica-Gigliotti del brand Frankie Morello celebra la Design
Week nel flagship store di Corso Matteotti interpretando le
collezioni autunno inverno 2013 con "Point of you", una
video istallazione realizzata in collaborazione con Studio = O
che proietta l’osservatore in uno spazio ottico infinito e
illusorio. Due installazioni multimediali in cui l'immagine
dell’osservatore si riflette sugli specchi con un leggero ritardo o
addirittura in anticipo sugli specchi davanti ai quali non è ancora
passato. All'attesissimo cocktail party parteciperà con una live
performance anche il duo electro IORI's EYES.

Visioni di Mariangela
The Milanese designer Martino Midali
and the art agent Hamilton Moura Filho Desivel present an exhibition
dedicated to Mariangela Melato, the great actress, known
throughout the world thanks to films like Flash Gordon and Swept
Away. A tribute from her favorite designer, with the portraits by
Emiliano Cavalli.

Martino Midali e l’agente d’arte Hamilton Moura Filho
Desivel presentano una mostra dedicata a Mariangela Melato, la
grande attrice, mondialmente conosciuta grazie a film come Flash
Gordon e Travolti da un insolito destino nell’azzurro mare
d’agosto. Un omaggio dal suo stilista preferito, Martino Midali,
con i ritratti dell'artista Emiliano Cavalli.

International Meeting
AfterDay
The International Meeting AfterDay
is the perfect event for the night-party-owls, in which design and
music get together in a special night with the exhibitions and
installations of international artists who live or work in Milan.
Among the artists you can find the Finnish Ingesson
Kollektiivinen; the Hopeificio factory, with video
projections and a live painting set; and finally the works of the
Belarusian photographer Kseniya Stasiankova. Everything
accompanied by the best international DJs such as DJ Davoo,
James Conrad Louis Baker, Dj Westbanhof and Zuzzi
Diggei.
Per i nottambuli
assidui frequentatori dei party milanesi c'è l'International
Meeting AfterDay, un appuntamento in cui design e musica si
incontrano in una notte piena di sorprese con esposizioni e
installazioni di artisti internazionali che vivono o lavorano a
Milano. Tra gli artisti in mostra ci sono il collettivo finlandese
Ingesson Kollektiivinen; la factory Hopeificio, con
proiezioni ed un set di live painting; ed infine i lavori della
fotografa bielorussa Kseniya Stasiankova; il tutto animato dai
migliori dj internazionali come Dj Davoo, James Conrad
Louis Baker, Dj Westbanhof e Zuzzi Diggei.
