followers, surely know that on March 17th I went to the ObiHall
theater in Florence, to attended the Jean Louis David's Spirit
Show, one of the most long-awaited seasonal events by all the
Italian Jean Louis David hairstylists, during which the JLD trainers
presented the new collections and trends concerning the hairstyling.
Sicuramente i follower
dei canali social del blog (Facebook e Twitter) sapranno che il 17 marzo presso il teatro ObiHall di Firenze, ho partecipato al Jean
Louis David's Spirit Show, uno degli eventi stagionali più attesi
dagli affiliati e dagli hairstylist Jean Louis David di tutta Italia,
durante il quale vengono presentate le nuove collezioni e tendenze.
I have to admit that the real-time social networking session was very challenging because on stage there was an energetic show with cool loud music and it was impossible to stay calm.
On the stage the Jean
Louis David professional trainers seemed to give life to a challenge
to interpret the Spring Summer 2013 trends under the eye of the
cameramen, ready to zoom on the techniques and details, while the
audience applaused and shouted all the time long to support their
"trainer heroes."
The Jean Louis David team
showed four haistyle mood and trends for the Spring Summer 2013:
La diretta social in
tempo reale devo dire che è stata molto impegnativa perché quello
che è andato in scena non era una semplice dimostrazione di tagli e
acconciature, ma un vero e proprio spettacolo con musica a tutto
volume che dava grinta ed energia a tutti i presenti, era impossibile
stare fermi.
Sul palco i trainer
professionisti Jean Louis David sembravano dar vita ad uno scontro
all'ultimo taglio per interpretare le tendenze Primavera Estate 2013
sotto l'occhio dei cameramen pronti ad riprendere e ingrandire i vari
dettagli tecnici, mentre in platea uno scroscio di applausi e grida a
ritmo di musica per sostenere i propri "beniamini".

Between the several
presentations there have been also break-dance choreographies and
singing live performances, which spread excitement and energy to the
entire JLD group, just as Roberto Corani and his daughter
Serena (master franchisor of Jean Louis David Italy) did with their
speech at the end of the show. There was a great sense of "belonging
to a family" in the air, especially if I think to the
audience who enthusiastically supported the various trainers during
their hairstyling sessions.
Tra la presentazione
di un mood e l'altro, non sono mancate coreografie di break-dance e
performance live, per trasmettere l'entusiasmo e l'energia
dell'intero gruppo JLD, ribadito alla fine dello show anche da
Roberto Corani e sua figlia Serena,
master franchisor di Jean Louis David Italia. Ho trovato
davvero significativo il grandissimo senso di appartenenza
all'azienda, espresso da tutti i partecipanti al meeting,
entusiasti e affiatati nel sostenere i vari trainer durante le
acconciature, oppure ballando e cantando durante le performance.

Gran finale
At the end of the show we
(bloggers) talked with Serena Corani and the JLD trainer
Tiziano Rossi who explained us the general trends seen on
stage. Spring Summer 2013 it's all about mid-length and long styles
with layered, but not thinned, cuts, and interesting "optical"
volumes thanks to new JLD color techniques such as:
Al termine dello show
noi blogger ci siamo intrattenuti con Serena Corani ed il
trainer JLD Tiziano Rossi che ci hanno spiegato la tendenza
estiva generale alla base dei 4 mood creati da Jean louis David visti
sul palco: mantenere la chioma molto piena non sfilandola, in modo da
conservare quella che in gergo viene chiamata la "materia"
e creare volumi "ottici" con colorazioni sfumate grazie
alle nuove tecniche JLD.
Light Shadows
Vertical shades of colors and dark fringe to highlight
the eyes.
Colore lavorato in ombre e luci a sfumature verticali, per
eliminare l'effetto radici uniformi
e la frangia più scura per
evidenziare lo sguardo.
Contrast Extreme
Dedicated to blond hair, working on more shades of blonde.
Dedicato alle chiome bionde, partendo da una base chiara e lavorando
su più tonalità di biondo, dalle radici più scure alle punte più
chiare.
Limelight
It allows to layer the nuances, with an iridescent effect which gives
depth to the cut.
Consente di sovrapporre le sfumature nello spessore dei capelli,
per
ottenere un effetto cangiante e dare rilievo e profondità.
I did not miss the chance
to ask how born the hair styling trends that we see on the catalogs
when we are by our trusted hairdresser. The answer was very simple:
for each collection the eyes are fix on the international catwalks of
New York, London, Milan and Paris. Then every JLD trainer makes a
sort of mood board by placing all the inspirations and influences
also from the world of architecture and design, and then he develops
the seasonal cuts focusing on what women want and could really wear
according to their daily needs. This led me to reflect on the fashion
shows and to the styling job beyond the combination of clothes and
accessories.
Finally, the evening
continued at the Otel Varietè where we had a great time enjoying the
dinner with cabaret show and then dancing on the dancefloor with the
JLD crew.
Ovviamente non mi sono
fatto scappare l'occasione per capire finalmente come nascono le
tendenze di hair styling che vediamo quando sfogliamo i cataloghi dei
tagli mentre siamo dal nostro parrucchiere di fiducia. La risposta è
stata semplice, per ogni collezione gli occhi sono puntati sulle
passerelle internazionali di New York, Londra, Milano e Parigi, poi
ogni tendenza viene rielaborata dai trainer JLD che realizzano dei
veri e propri mood board inserendo tutte le ispirazioni e
contaminazioni anche dal mondo dell'architettura e del design, finché
non sviluppano definitivamente i tagli concentrandosi su quello che
le donne effettivamente vorrebbero e potrebbero portare in base alle
loro necessità della vita quotidiana. Ciò mi ha portato a
riflettere sull'importanza delle sfilate, ma soprattutto del grande
lavoro di styling che va be oltre il solo abbinamento di capi e
accessori.
Infine la serata è
continuata presso l'Otel Varietè dove noi blogger ci siamo divertiti
godendoci la cena con spettacolo di cabaret e successivamente
girellando sul dancefloor insieme a tutti i coiffer JLD.
