Milan, first day of the fashion week: the fashion world is in front of the Sheraton Diana Majestic
Hotel waiting for the Gucci fashion show, while the show of the
eccentric, excessive and joyful fashion is going on. At the same time, in fron
of the main entrance of the same hotel, a more sober queue is about
to join the Chicca Lualdi BeeQueen fashion show.
Two diametrically opposed
universes, that are part of the same fashion system, show their
collections in the same location.
Milano, primo giorno di sfilate, lo spettacolo della moda eccentrica, eccessiva e
gioiosa si consuma in Piazza Oberdan, davanti all'Hotel Sheraton Diana
Majestic in attesa della sfilata Gucci; solo a qualche metro di distanza, davanti all'ingresso principale dello
stesso hotel, una fila composta e più sobria si accinge ad entrare
alla sfilata di Chicca Lualdi BeeQueen.
Due universi
diametralmente opposti che fanno parte dello stesso sistema moda e
che si incontrano nella stessa location.
The hall for the fashion
show is a small dark room with shiny walls, lit by shafts of light
reflected in large mirrors. It's like being inside a Japanese black
lacquered box with mother of pearl inlay.
L'ambiente in cui ha
luogo il fashion show è una piccola stanza scura dalle pareti lucide
e illuminata da tagli di luce che si riflettono su grandi specchi a
tutta parete. Si ha l'impressione di essere all'interno di una
scatola laccata giapponese tempestata di intarsi in madreperla.
The show begins and just
from the first looks we can find all the sources of inspiration
declared by the designer in the press release.
The warm colors of
copper and gold arranged in bands of contrasting textures echo the
abstract works of American painter Mark Rothko.
The Swinging London mood
and sporty details are mixed in backless dresses, sculpture cloacks
and patent leather boots which refer to the most iconic objects of
the designer Vico Magistretti.
Inizia la sfilata e da
subito si riscontrano le fonti di ispirazione dichiarate dalla
stilista nel comunicato stampa. I colori caldi del rame e
dell'oro disposti a fasce di textures contrapposte riecheggiano le
opere astratte del pittore americano Mark Rothko.
Dettagli sportivi e
anni 60 si mixano in abitini alla Swinging London con scollature a
sorpresa sulla schiena o in capi che citano gli oggetti di design più
iconici del maestro Vico Magistretti come gli stivaletti con i
profili in vernice, gli abiti a trapezio e le cappe scultura.
